Danish funded research on malaria wins an award: Centre for Medical Parasitology (CMP) has been selected as one of two 2015 recipients of the Global Excellence in Health, which is awarded by the Capital Region of Denmark to "promote and support skilled and internationally outstanding professional environments".

- Ratification of the Double Taxation Agreement between Ghana and Denmark
The Ghanaian government has ratified the agreement between Ghana and Denmark for avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital gains.

On Wednesday the 20th of August 2015 the Danish Ambassador, Tove Degnbol, visited the global telecommunications equipment company Alcatel – Lucent Denmark. She was welcomed by Export Director of Alcatel – Lucent Denmark, Mr. Jan Plenge, and the GPM of the project, Mr. Wolfgang Pfaff, as well as representatives from the National Information Technology Agency (NITA).

- The Danish Ambassador Visits Lavender Hill Project
On Monday 18th of August, the Danish Ambassador, H.E. Tove Degnbol, visited the Lavender Hill in Accra – a human sludge dumping site - to see at first hand the on-going pilot project. The treatment plant at Lavender Hill has now been in operation for more than 12 months and is successfully cleaning the otherwise untreated sewage. The Ambassador was welcomed by the Major of Accra (Accra Metropolitan Assembly), Hon Alfred Okoe Vanderpuye, Mr. Fredrik Sunesson, founder of Slamson Ghana Ltd, and the site managers.
