  • The Embassy donates 40 cholera beds to Cape Coast

    Cholera is still a disease that occasionally  threatens  public health in Ghana, and recently Cape Coast had  737 cases. With a donation from the Embassy of Denmark,  the health service in Cape Coast will be better equipped to deal with  future outbreaks.

  • Result of the presidential election

    On Friday 9 December, the result of the Presidential Election was declared by the Election Commission. NPP Flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo got 53.85% of the votes, while H.E. President John Dramani Mahama from NDC got 44.4%. The five other candidates accounted for a total of 1.75% of the votes. The voter turnout has been 68.6%.

    Yesterday, on the 7th of December, all eyes were on the Ghanaian voters. Peacefully and patiently they stood in line for many hours to cast their votes for the presidential- and parliamentary candidates.
