Fan Milk launches new yoghurt

Fan Milk Ghana has launched FanMaxx – the first creamy and drinkable yoghurt to be produced in West Africa.

Fan Milk was originally created by Danish Erik Emborg in 1960 as he saw there was a market in Ghana for locally produced dairy products. It turned out to be a great success and was later sold to Danone. You can still see the Fan Milk bikes in Ghana and also widely spread in the rest of West Africa.

Now Fan Milk has launched a new product – FanMaxx. The drinkable yoghurt is especially interesting as it has a long shelf life of four months that is particularly suited for the African market where the cold chain is not always failsage.

The launch took place at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra and was attended by the Danish Ambassador to Ghana, Tove Degnbol.
