For several years, the Foreign Ministry of Denmark has supported the development research conducted by Danish universities and research institutions in cooperation with Ghanaian universities and research institutions.
On the territory of University of Ghana, positioned North of Accra, the guest house ‘Denmark House’ has been built to host visiting researchers.
At present Denmark has a broad range of initiatives in Ghana within the area of research:
North and South Driven Development Cooperation 2015
The aim is to strengthen the research capacity and the long-term cooperation between Danish institutions and institutions in Ghana. Funding can be applied for through the Danida Fellowship Centre here.
