In the end of 2015 the Danish Football club FC Nordsjaelland was acquired by an investor group with the former Manchester United scout, Mr. Tom Vernon, as a spokesman. The same investor group owns the Right to Dream Academy in the Volta region in Ghana. The Right to Dream Academy has over 70 academy students in the age 11 to 18 from 7 countries. The focus of the academy is diversity in gender, culture and personality and is using this as a tool for improving and challenging the student’s understanding of the world around them. The academy was founded by Mr. Tom Vernon in 1999.

Therefore, on the 28th of January representatives from FC Nordsjaelland visit the Danish Embassy in Accra. The Embassy of Denmark in Ghana plans to visit the academy in the middle of February.
