The Building Green Business Delegation consisting of Ghanaian and Ivorian building and architect companies were gathered in the Ambassador Ms. Tove Degnbol’s residence Thursday evening for a pre-departure event. The Embassy's Commercial Team briefed the delegation about the trip to Denmark and the delegates had the opportunity to ask questions and to network.

Saturday evening, many of the delegates left for Copenhagen where they arrived Sunday morning. They were all checked in at the Hotel Guldsmeden Carlton in the heart of the Danish capital. Here, the hotel owner and manager presented to the delegation its green and ecological concept, while the delegates could relax with a cold welcome drink after a long journey. The first day ended with a dinner next to the hotel at Madklubben Vesterbro.

Monday the delegation will be starting its tour with company visits first at the world-known architectural firm Henning Larsen and afterwards the concrete producers IBF in Roskilde. In the evening, there will be a dinner and presentations of energy efficiency in Eigtved Pakhus. Special invited guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Trade Council, financial institutes, relevant partners, as well as the Ambassador of Ghana in Denmark and the Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire in Denmark will attend.
