The Embassy has reduced our electricity consumption by 46 percent

In one year the Embassy has reduced our electricity consumption by 46 percent. The reduction is mainly caused by the installation of a solar cell panel and air conditioners with low power consumption.

The Embassy's decision to replace incandescent light bulb with LED light and the purchase of cables with low energy-loss has also made a difference to the overall energy budget.

Becoming “recycling champions”
The Embassy is also committed to waste segregation and recycling. That is why we have installed several colourful bins around the embassy that help us separate our waste into four different categories: food, plastic, paper and non-recyclable. All embassy staff have received training by the waste management company Jekora Ventures who taugh us just how easy it is to become a “recycling champion”.
